STOKE MILLS, NEAR NORWICH,

AND

CANNON STREET, LONDON.

MUSTARD.—J. & J. COLMAN invite the attention of the Trade to the qualities of their Mustard. It is manufactured from the best description of English Brown Seed, possesses great strength and pungency, combined with a pleasantness of flavour rarely met with in the article.

J. & J. Colman continue to pack the various kinds in casks of the usual size, but in order to meet the wishes of Families, and their Friends generally, they are now offering it in packets of 1 lb., ½ lb., ¼ lb., and 2 oz.

These packets (tinfoil) are prepared with the greatest care and neatness, and the Mustard is effectually prevented from deteriorating.

It is also packed in round tins of 1 lb., ½ lb., ¼ lb. and in tins of 4 lbs. and 6 lbs. each.

STARCH.—In addition to the usual kinds made from Wheat, viz., No. 1 London Starch, Soluble Satin Glaze Starch, and Patent White Starch, J. & J. Colman have directed much attention to the preparation of their No. 1 Patent Rice Starch, which they now offer to the Public as superior to every other made from Rice. It is quite free from all mucilaginous matter; is soluble, and can be used with greater facility than the common Starch. Sold in Packets of 5 lbs., 1 lb., ½ lb., and ¼ lb. each.

Ladies are especially invited to test the SOLUBLE SATIN GLAZE STARCH. Being used in a fluid state it imparts an equality of stiffness and gloss to the finer fabrics, and produces a finish unequalled by any other yet offered. Sold in packets of 1lb., ½lb., and ¼lb.

BLUE.—This article is manufactured of various shades of colour from Indigo and Prussian Blue, the former being used principally for Laundress purposes, the latter by the Manufacturers of Flannels, &c., &c., and when made genuine, it imparts a colour which cannot be obtained from other ingredients. J. & J. Colman warrant the genuineness of their Blues.
