The constitution of the Russian Provisional Government is announced: Prince Lvoff is Premier.

The Russian Provisional Government demands the abdication of the Tsar. The Tsar abdicates for himself and the Tsarevitch, and names his brother, the Grand Duke Michael, as Regent.

The British destroyer Foyle is sunk by a mine in the Straits of Dover.
