"Auctori consilium.
Instaurare paras veterum documenta sophorum:
Instaura leges justitiamque prius."
He added, with allusion to the ship in the frontispiece of the Novum Organum,
"It deserveth not to be read in schools,
But to be freighted in the ship of Fools."
