‘Hoo deea tha mannish ’t?’
‘Naay, that licks ma; bud it gans up leyke all that.’
‘What’s ho’ding ’t up noo?’
‘Ah deean’t reetlings knaw. Ah ax’d t’ chap ’at awns ’t, an’ he tell’d ma ’at it war thrussen up wi’ gas.’
