Male.—Similar to L. regulus but the yellow patch on crown much smaller. Wing, 97; tail, 46; culmen from front margin of cere, 14.
Female.—Similar to the female of L. regulus.
This form which is merely a subspecies of Loriculus regulus is abundant in Romblon, Tablas, and Sibuyan.
