Only the councell gave hym fare wordes, and bad hym com againe to morrow. And towardes night Stroyemon Dono and Cacazemon Dono sent me word we should have our dispach before the new moone; which God grant.

January 26 (Shiwas 25).—The King of Firandos brother accompanid with other 2 noble men of themperours followers, one of 8 mangocas, and the other of 3 per anno, came to vizet me and to heare som musick, unto whome I gave the best entertaynment I could; and from hence they went to the Hollands howse to vizet Capt.
