There Centaury supplies the wholesome flame,

That from Thessalian Chiron takes its name;

The gummy Larch-tree, and the Thapsos there,

Woundwort and Maidenweed perfume the air:

There the long branches of the long-lived Hart,

With Southernwood their odours strong impart,
