Together with a Preface before it, and after it a Recommendation from the University, [this bears the signatures of Worthington, Arrowsmith, Tuckney, Whichcot, Ralph Cudworth, and William Dillingham;] and two serious Exhortations, recommended unto all the unfeigned lovers of Piety and Learning, and more particularly to those rich men who desire to honour the Lord with their substance.’ [1658-60.] There is a characteristic letter in it from Baxter.
