Mother (prays): O God of Israel, bless thou this child, and as thou hast drawn him up out of the water, grant that he may be the means, through thee, to lift his people out of slavery. (They rise and go.)

O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name:
Make known his doings among the peoples.
He sent Moses his servant,
And Aaron whom he had chosen.
And he brought forth his people with joy,
And his chosen with singing.
