Provost of Dundee—

Hallelujah,

Hallelujee.”

Again:—

“Here lie the banes o’ Tammy Messer,

Of Tarry woo’ he was a dresser;

He had some fau’ts and mony merits,

And died o’ drinking ardent spirits.”
