1416. Bone and Ivory: Blue
- Immerse for some time in a dilute solution of sulphate of indigo—partly saturated with potash—and it will be fully stained.
- Steep in a strong solution of sulphate of copper.
1417. Bone and Ivory: Green
- Dip blue-stained articles for a short time in nitro-hydrochlorate of tin, and then in a hot decoction of fustic.
- Boil in a solution of verdigris in vinegar until the desired colour is obtained.
