1831. Grecian Netting
- Do one plain row. First pattern row. Insert the needle in the first stitch, and, without working it, draw through it the second stitch, through the loop of which draw the first, and work it in the ordinary way. This forms a twisted stitch, and the next is a very small loop formed of a part of the second stitch. Repeat this throughout the row.
- The second row is done plain.
- The third like the first; but the first and last stitches are to be done in the usual manner, but begin the twisting with the second and third loops.
- The fourth is plain. Repeat these four rows as often as required.
- Use No. 20 mesh for the fancy rows, and No. 14 for the plain.
