294. For there are three that bare record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these-three are one. I John v.. 7.

Then said the Lord unto Moses, behold I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law or no. 302. And then the Lord's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit, and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the Lord giveth you. Dent. xi. 17.

303. When heaven is shut up and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them. 1 Kings viii. 35.
