347. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord; and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Zeph, i. 17.

348. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, (as some men count slackness,) but is long suffering to usward, not willing that amy should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter iii, 9.

349. The Lord hath made all things for himself; yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Prov. xvi. 4.

350. For thou lovest all things that are and abhorrest nothing which thou hast made; for never wouldst thou have made any thing, if thou hadst hated it, Wis. of Sol. xi. 24.
