Remarks.—Midsummer. Despite the drought, beasts and birds begin to couple, and trees to put forth leaves.
The E. wind becomes milder, the weather better, especially at night, and the whirlwinds diminish. The change of seasons, which brought so much sickness, passed away in the latter third of July. In Sept., Unyamwezi is tolerably healthy.
