G = 4·5-5·0; H = 6¹⁄₂. Bright black; translucent.

Hydrated titano-columbate of U, with some Fe and Ca. TiO₂ = 10·7%.

Massive.

G = 4·17-4·25. H = 5¹⁄₂. Black; opaque.

Nohl, Sweden.

Bodenite.

A variety of [Allanite] (q.v.), rich in Al and Ca, with no Be. Yttr = 17; Cer = 18%.
