Šurippak, the city which thou knowest,
Lies (upon the bank) of the Euphrates.
That city was old, and the gods within it.
The great gods decided in their hearts to make a flood.

Their counsellor, the warrior Ellila,
Their throne-bearer, Ninip,
Their leader, En-nu-gi.
Nin-igi-azaga, the god Ae, communed with them, and
