“God hears him who praises Him.”
The people then respond in a low voice—
“O Lord, Thou art praised.”

Takbīr-i-Sijdah, said as the worshipper drops on his knees.
“God is great!”
Tasbīḥ-i-Sijdah, recited as the worshipper puts first his nose and then his forehead to the ground.
