Salt and pepper
Flour
Drippings or other fat
1½ cups water
3 potatoes, diced
2 onions, sliced
3 carrots, diced
1 cup raw snap beans
Cut meat into inch cubes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, roll in flour, and brown in the fat.
Add water, cover, and simmer until almost tender—2 to 3 hours.
