George Daniel's copy, with the following note on the fly leaf: "'Spiller's Jests' I have never seen in any other collection." It is his Life with a new title-page. It would seem that "Spiller's Life" was not an attractive title; the publisher therefore cancelled the first title and substituted the present one, as the two works are apparently the same, except for the titles.
