Jesus was to be Three Days and Three Nights in the Grave.
So shall the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. ([Mat. 12 : 40].)
He was but Two Days and Two Nights in the Grave.
And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.... It was the preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath.... And Pilate ... gave the body to Joseph. And he ... laid him in a sepulcher.... The Holy Ghost Was Bestowed at Pentecost.
But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.... Ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. ([Acts 1 : 8, 5].)
