God’s Anger is Slow, and Endures but for a Moment.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. ([Ps. 103 : 8].)

His anger endureth but a moment. ([Ps. 30 : 5].)

God’s Anger is Fierce, Frequent, and Endures Long.

And the Lord’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation that had done evil in the sight of the Lord was consumed. ([Num. 32 : 13].)

And the Lord said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the Lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel. ([Num. 25 : 4].)
