The tympanum (photo below) is divided into three parts:
1. Six patriarchs or prophets.
2. Left: Burial of the Virgin. Right: The Assumption.
3. Crowning of the Virgin.
In the arches are angels bearing censers, the Kings of Judah and other ancestors of the Virgin.
