lyf; the flesshe, of nothing it profiteth.' Flesshe is flesshly
understandinge; flessh without grace and love naught is worth.
'The letter sleeth; the spirit yeveth lyfelich understanding.'
Charitè is love; and love is charitè.
God graunt us al[le] therin to be frended!
