ANTICIPATION
It was Schelling who said that if he had truth in one hand and the search for truth in the other, he would let truth go in order that he might search for it. Something of this philosophy is in these verses:
For me the loitering of the road,
The hidden voice that sings;
For me the vernal mysteries,
Deep woods and silent springs.
I covet not the ended road,
The granary, the sheaf;
For me the sowing of the grain,
