For noȝt resayuen bot euer sene

Þat noþyng fayle and alle be whene;

Þat þo clerke of kechyn schulde not mys,

Þer-fore þo countrollour, as hafe I blys,

Wrytes vp þo somme as euery day,

And helpes to count, as I ȝou say.
