A Double Prize
Sydney Smith sent to Mrs. John Murray (wife of the publisher) the following epigram on Professor Airy, of Cambridge, the great astronomer and mathematician, and his beautiful wife:
Airy alone has gained that double prize
Which forced musicians to divide the crown;
