On the tombstone of Dr. Walker, who wrote a work on “English Particles,” is inscribed,—

Dr. Fuller’s reads,—

Here lies Fuller’s Earth.

And Archbishop Potter’s,—

Alack and well-a-day,

Potter himself is turned to clay.
