Flesh Face Powder.—
| Base | 9 pounds |
| Powdered Florentine orris | 1 pound |
| Carmine No. 40 | 250 grains |
| Extract of jasmine | 100 minims |
| Oil of neroli | 20 minims |
| Vanillin | 5 grains |
| Artificial musk | 30 grains |
| White heliotropin | 30 grains |
| Coumarin | 1 grain |
Rub the carmine with a portion of the base and alcohol in a mortar, mixing the perfume the same way in another large mortar, and adding the orris. Mix and sift all until specks of carmine disappear on rubbing.
White Face Powder.—

Perfume the same. Mix and sift.
