Ginger Cup Cake.
3 eggs.
1 cupful molasses.
1 cupful sugar.
1 cupful butter (half lard will answer).
½ teaspoonful soda, dissolved in 1 tablespoonful buttermilk.
1 tablespoonful ground ginger.
2½ cupfuls flour.
Mix as other cake. Some like allspice.—Mrs. H. D.
