Aȝanis hyme, but ſuthly vas ſche not,
[2284] For he al-out was mor in to hir thoght.
Than ſchapith ſhe aȝane the ferd day,
And richly ſche gan hir-ſelf aray;
Syne clepit haith apone her cuſynes,
Before going to the court,
[2288] And ſaith, “y will one to the court me dreß;
And malice I have ſchawin on to ȝhon knycht,
For-quhy he wold nocht ſchew me quhat he hicht,
Bot ſo, I-wyß, It is nocht in my thocht,
