Wee sound Alarme th’assaute the rockes assayes,
Our souldiers brainesicke heedelesse vp ascend,
The Delphos men had fenste the easiest wayes,
So that against the rockes our force wee bend:
With stones the scaleing Britaynes downe they hend,
An earthquake eke by vowes [and cries] the sacrificers reare,
Which on my souldiers downe [to fall] a mighty rocke did teare.
