Eke chiefly they at noble Nennius stayde,

They seemde with dolefull tunes their notes to riue:

And sodaynly his prayse againe they playde,

O worthie Nennius for thy factes aliue!

The trumpe of fame was straightly chargde reuiue,

And keepe, maintaine and celebrate his prayse:

Which done, me thought they vanisht[744] quite their wayes.
