To Hercules his pillers from the East
They cast by compasse ready way to finde:
Where through once past to Northward race they twinde,
To Pirene cleeues, tweene Spayne and France the bounde,
Reioycing neere the promist Ile so founde.[179]

Eke[180] vnto Guyne in France they sayled thence,
Where[181] at the hauen of Loire they did arriue,
To vewe the countrey was their whole pretence
And victayles get, their souldiers to reuiue.[182]
