Chamberlain and Hartington and Goschen

May attempt to thwart the nation’s will;

But the British people’s true devotion

Centres in their honoured chieftain still.

Trust again the troth he’s nobly plighted

And he’ll reach the welcome promised goal—

Erin’s sons, by ties of love united,

Shall be “one with Britain’s, heart and soul.”

F. Topham.
