Old Nick had just finished his London reports,
Which gave him so much satisfaction,
That he tucked up his tail, took the Underground rail,
Bought a “Saturday Sneer” and a “Dublin Mail,”
And went off to the scene of action.
As he passed the palatial mansions and clubs,
He nodded to many a friend;
