Und de ground mit heldy blood did sop,

Dot Schlosser as he rode along,

He singed himself a funny song.

He vasn’d dinkin’ ’boud der fray—

He vas more as a hundred miles avay,

Dree cheers! dree cheers! for Schlosser, bold.

Four cheers! four cheers! for dot horse so old.
