Noisy bells!
What a sound of Pandemonium their ding-ding-dong foretells;
How they jingle, jingle, jingle,
Every morning, noon, and night,
Till I’m sure their deafening ring’ll
Make my ears for ever tingle,
And my peace of mind quite blight.
Hear their dong-dong-dong,
Like a cracked old Chinese gong!
