Redemption through Jesus which sav’d me from hell.
I scarcely was sixteen when I was first called
To think of my soul and the state it was in;
I saw myself standing a distance from Jesus;
Between him and me was a mountain of sin.
The devil perceived that I was convicted,
And strove to persuade me that I was too young,
