Puzzle No. 67

A STAID FORM

By Charles Erlenkotter

This plot of crosses and dots looks safe and conservative. There are, however, several perfectly good English words that will give you a thrill. By strange coincidence, this odd pattern was used by another contributor and will be found elsewhere in the book. A comparison of the two puzzles will be interesting.
