And thanked God for his great grace,

That he shold come soe farr into a strang[e] land,

To ouercome the soldan in place.

Hee tooke the head vpon his sword-poynt,

And carryed it amongst his host soe fayre;

When the saw the soldans head,

They thanked God on their knees there.
