OUR PROGRESS; OR, SIGNS OF THE TIMES.
The Head Teacher of one of the London County Council Schools has been taking his elder boys through a con amore course of Esperanto. This course is much appreciated. Happy boys of this New Age to be able to learn the Most Modern of Languages by means of exercises taken from the fascinating tales in this Gazette, instead of from such old-style phrases as: "The remembrance of your assiduity has rewarded me"; or, "The libraries of this town are very small."
Mentioning Libraries reminds us that the copy of The Complete Text-Book, supplied to a London Free Library by one of our enthusiastic supporters, has already been so much in demand, and has consequently become worn out, that another copy has been applied for.
