In rain or ever-changing flowers.

Behold, those forest trees, that stand

High upon rock and table-land,

As the cool gales their branches bend,

Their floating blossoms downward send.

See, Lakshmaṇ, how the breezes play

With every floweret on the spray.

And sport in merry guise with all

The fallen blooms and those that fall.

See, brother, where the merry breeze
