4.—Geographical Enigma.
To gently walk, to move with ease;
An edge, or margin, if you please:
Combine the two, and you will find
The home of persons great in mind.
A spot of northern English ground
Near which a mighty poet found
A still retreat: a teacher sage,
And lady honoured in her age,
Were dwellers in this district too,
And all its wondrous beauties knew.
