An unusually interesting and valuable Collection of Autograph Letters, 35,000 Franks, and numerous Literary Curiosities.
PUTTICK AND SIMPSON, Auctioneers of Literary Property, will sell by Auction at their Great Room, 191. Piccadilly, on TUESDAY, March 16, and two following days, a Collection of Autograph Letters, in the finest preservation, amongst which will be found those of English and Foreign Sovereigns, Noblemen, Statesmen, and Commanders, Oliver Cromwell and his adherents, Napoleon, his Family and Generals, Authors, Artists, Actors, Musicians, &c., Ireland's Shakspeare papers, the author's own copy, with numerous specimens of the pseudo-original MSS., Southey's Madoc (the author's MS.), and many interesting literary curiosities. Catalogues will be sent on application (if in the country, on receipt of six stamps).
CURIOUS CUTTINGS FROM ANCIENT NEWSPAPERS, GAZETTES, MAGAZINES, &c., illustrative of the following English Counties, may be obtained from MR. JAMES FENNELL, 1. (1765 to 1810), a very interesting collection, 10s. 6d.; Derbyshire Cuttings (1730 to 1835), rare Views and Pamphlets, 1l. 5s.; Devonshire Cuttings, Pamphlets, Views, and Portraits, 16s. 6d.
