A biographical sketch written by a man who was closely associated with the relief of Belgium. A preliminary chapter, headed “Children,” describes Mr Hoover’s arrival in Warsaw. The remaining chapters are devoted to the relief of Belgium, the American food administration, and the American relief administration.
