The first chapter treats biblical chronology solely on the basis of the dates furnished by the Bible, taking them at their face value, and without any inquiry, either into the age of the documents, or into their historicity; the second chapter contains a full treatment of the ancient history of these countries; and the third is devoted to Egyptian chronology.
