Four gallons go as far as five gallons of solar or other common oils, and therefore their Clarified Oil is cheapest. Lamps burning it require no cleaning, on account of its purity. It produces a splendid light, without smoke, if their fire-proof smoke consuming glasses are used; but burns quite equal to sperm with the common glasses.
