The preparations for the approaching council continue to be made on a grand scale, and with the greatest diligence. From the Chronicle of Matters relating to the future Council, which is regularly published at the office of the Civilta Cattolicà, in Rome, we copy the list of the different commissions and their members which are preparing the matters to be discussed and decided upon by the bishops assembled in ecumenical council.
