“A complete paper on one of the oldest of known crinoid genera—Cleiocrinus.... Various authors ... have had great difficulty in placing it in the system of classification.... Mr. Springer does not now establish the family Cleiocrinidæ, in so many words, but ... it is finally concluded that the genus is intermediate between the great groups of flexibilia and camerata; nearest, apparently, to the reteocrinidæ.
